Northern Athletics Club Northern 10

Start of the 2008 race

As the name would suggest the Northern 10 is a 10 mile run on the roads around Ramsey. Starting on North Shore Road in Ramsey, outside the Ballacloan football stadium, the runners head out along the TT course towards Sulby. At Sulby bridge the route turns off to St Judes. Once at the crossroads, it's a right turn onto the Jurby Road back into Ramsey. Just before reaching the end of the road, there is a left turn up Richmond Road followed by another left onto the Bowring Road and past The Grove. A right turn onto Bride Road takes the runners to the site of the Grand Island Hotel where they turn right down to the seafront and onto Mooragh Promenade. On reaching the Park, the race passes the Lakeside cafe and ends at the exit to Ballacloan Road.
