Nikki and Michelle back to winning ways

There were first places for Nikki Boyde in the Western 10 and Michelle Turner in the Julie Brew Memorial Walk. Both have been out of action for much of the year and have just returned to competition recently.

The event at Peel, hosted by Western AC, proved to be a happy hunting ground for Northern athletes who made the most of the perfect racing conditions. Whilst the ladies were winning their events there were also age category wins for Glen Hamilton, Richard Radcliffe and Kevin Deakes in the men's race. The latter was also 3rd in the overall standings.

And well done to our other athletes who completed the run and walk over the demanding ten mile course.
