Great Results in Cross Country League
Over 50 Northern club members took part in a record breaking opening round of the Microgaming sponsored Cross Country League.
There were over 200 runners taking part in the races held at Ballanette, easily beating the numbers at previous cross country meetings.
Congratulations to our winners, Ryan Fairclough (Short Course), Illiam Quane (Junior Men), David Mullarkey (U13 Boys) and Jess Hill (U13 Girls).
Kirree Quayle won the U17 womens race followed by team-mate Ellen Quane in second. There was also a Northern 1-2 in the U9 Boys as Alex Read finished first ahead of Ross Quayle.
Pride of place goes to the U11 Girls who emulated their senior's results in last week's fell racing with a clean sweep of the podium places. Lydia Morris
was the winner from Leah Jay in second and Millie Palmer in 3rd.
Elsewhere there were podium finishes for Greg Crebbin (2nd U15B), Ella Crowe (3rd U9G), Katie Strickett (3rd U15G), Harry Read (3rd U11B),
Nikki Boyde (2nd Ladies) and Judith Quane (3rd Ladies).
Well done to everyone else who took part, full results can be found on the IOMAA site here.
